Patent Litigation Associate

Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in multiple offices for an Intellectual Property Patent Litigation Associate. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of experience in a full range of intellectual property matters, including drafting substantive briefs involving patent issues, summary judgment, and motions to dismiss. Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the state where the office resides.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Technical degree required, with preference given to Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Will also consider Chemistry, Biology, or Mechanical Engineering.
• USPTO registration and experience in post-grant trials at the USPTO PTAB preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Compensation & Benefits

• The salary ranges for this position apply to California and New York. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $205,000 - $260,000 in California and $210,000 - $265,000 in New York.
