This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 3-10 years of experience who specialize in defending against all types of medical malpractice claims, including cases involving Nursing Home defense and Healthcare Liability. Our team is committed to effectively moving cases through the legal system while vigorously defending our clients interests in court. Responsibilities

At QPWB, our Medical Malpractice Group is composed of seasoned attorneys dedicated to assisting a diverse range of clients, in the defense of medical malpractice defense actions. From initial claims handling through mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal, we provide comprehensive legal representation tailored to the unique needs of each client. As an Attorney specializing in Medical Malpractice, your role will involve:

Reviewing and preparing summaries of medical records to effectively advocate for clients.

Ability to represent insurers in pre-litigation matters and throughout all stages of litigation.

Preparing clients for depositions and attending depositions as needed.

Drafting initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trials, and appellate activity.

Responding to discovery requests and drafting discovery-related motions.

Regularly attending court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications

What Youll Bring

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee.

3+ years' experience practicing Medical Malpractice cases.

Possess analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues effectively.

Demonstrate excellent research abilities and strong written and oral communication skills.

Draft and respond to discovery-related motions.

Regularly attend court appearances.

Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.

Draft motions for summary judgments.
