Overview
The Washington, D.C. office is seeking a legal secretary/paralegal with litigation experience. The primary duties of this position include working for a minimum of four (4) attorneys, calendaring, document management including but not limited to review, creation, and organization. In addition, compiling information for discovery responses, interrogatories, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation are essential functions of this role. Other essential functions of this role include docketing, scheduling of appointments including travel, depositions, and various meetings, filing and serving documents both state and federal, creating legal documents, opening new matters, and processing various financial related tasks.

Responsibilities
Job Specifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- At least three (3) years of litigation work experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Strong Excel skills required
- Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
- This position has an annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours
