Real Estate Attorney

Miller Canfield, an AmLaw 200 law firm with one of the leading real estate practices nationwide, seeks an attorney to join its Real Estate team in Michigan.

Our Chambers-ranked Real Estate Group delivers solutions to corporations, lenders, borrowers, special loan servicers, government entities, developers, landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers in transactions of all sizes. From high-rise office buildings, hotels and complex mixed use projects to major professional sports stadiums and single family residential subdivisions, our attorneys are capable of tackling the toughest projects.

Ideal candidates will have 2-7 years of experience working on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development, management and debt and equity financing. Must be skilled in drafting agreements for the sale and acquisition of commercial real estate, negotiating leases, drafting design and construction agreements, title and survey review, drafting closing documents, negotiating loan documents and closing real estate transactions. Successful candidates will have a strong academic record, excellent drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must be licensed and in good standing in Michigan, or eligible for admission by examination or waiver.
