Associate Attorney

Foulston is seeking an associate attorney to join our growing Litigation and Employment practice in Overland Park. In this position, you can expect to conduct legal research, draft pleadings and other documents, conduct negotiations, and work directly with clients. Many of our litigation associates interview witnesses and take depositions within a short time after joining the firm and argue motions and obtain trial experience within their first year or two. Foulston is the largest Kansas-based law firm, with a strong tradition for legal excellence. Since our establishment in 1919, the firm has grown to 90 lawyers with offices in the Kansas City area (Overland Park), Topeka, and Wichita. • A Juris Doctor law degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
• Be licensed to practice law in the states of Kansas and Missouri (or obtain both licenses)
• Two to six years of experience as a litigation or employment law associate
• Excellent academic credentials
• A strong focus on excellence and superior client service
• A positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a desire to work in a team environment
