Associate - Litigation

The Cleveland office of BakerHostetler is seeking a litigation associate to join the Firm’s expanding litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-6 years of commercial litigation experience, including experience in federal and state court matters, initial claims investigations, drafting and preparing pleadings, discovery, expert witnesses and trial and/or arbitration.
Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate Include:• Excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, oral advocacy, and discovery skills, e.g., taking and defending depositions
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
• The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment and interact with clients
• A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school
