What you can expect in your role as an Orlans’ Attorney:

  • Responsible for attending hearings and preparing documents filed with the court, including motions for relief from stay, proofs of claim, and objections to confirmation.
  • Responsible for reviewing files as they are assigned and developing strategies for handling these files

These are the areas of knowledge and experience we are seeking in an Associate Attorney:

  • A bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degree
  • Admission to the RI State Bar
  • 1 to 5 years of legal practice experience in collections or foreclosure preferred.
  • Ability to manage a high file volume.
  • You have demonstrated high level of ability to perform research and efficiently and effectively communicate results both verbally and written, including publications.
  • Knowledge of various corporate structures and arrangements and demonstrated ability to review and recommend alternatives.
  • A demonstrated ability to effectively assess and balance risks and make business decisions.
