Employee Benefits Attorney

Miller Johnson, a full service law firm, headquarter in West Michigan, has an immediate opening for an experienced Employee Benefits Attorney in our Labor and Employment practice group.

Miller Johnson is looking for a dedicated professional focused on simplifying the legal landscape for our clients. In this role, you will specialize in guiding businesses through the complexities of employee benefit plans, demonstrating expertise in key elements such as 401(k) plans, defined benefit pension plans (including cash balance plans), employee stock ownership plans, phantom stock plans, stock options, profit-sharing, incentive bonus plans tailored for both hourly employees and executives, nonqualified deferred compensation plans (including those funded with rabbi trusts), Section 457 deferred compensation plans, and Section 403(b) tax-sheltered annuity plans. This positions responsibility will be to bring clarity and strategic counsel to assist our clients in designing, implementing, and communicating effective benefit programs. This role emphasizes a commitment to ensuring compliance with relevant regulations throughout these processes. A successful candidate for this role will possess 5+ years of experience in this space.
