Insurance Cyber Coverage Associate

Kennedys, recently ranked as a Leading Firm in The Legal 500 US 2022, and maintained our rankings in Chambers USA 2022 for Insurance and Insurance: Dispute Resolution, is seeking Associates with 3-7 years' cyber insurance coverage and monitoring experience to join its growing cyber team. In this role, the attorney will represent insurance companies in monitoring cyber claims , in coverage disputes and advise insurance companies on a variety of coverage matters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing global law firm.

Candidates should have a strong litigation background, with experience analyzing coverage issues, drafting coverage opinions, pleadings, and dispositive motions, and conducting discovery in insurance coverage litigation and other commercial litigation, mediations, arbitration.

The annualized salary range for this role is $125,000-$175,000. However, this is contingent upon level of experience, practice group, location and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Required experience

• Minimum of 3 years law firm insurance coverage and litigation experience
• Ideal candidate would be licensed in New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Delaware a huge plus
• Excellent academic background
• Superior research, writing and communication skills
• Experience analyzing cyber insurance policies and other relevant contracts
• Ability to handle all phases of the litigation process including drafting motions, pleadings, initial disclosures, discovery demands, discovery responses and other court documents
• Experience in drafting settlement agreements, attending depositions, appearing at court conferences and handling appeals
• Mediation, arbitration and/or trial experience is beneficial
