The New York office of Epstein Becker & Green is seeking an attorney to work at the level of a mid-level or senior associate to join its national management-side labor and employment practice.

Candidates should have a minimum of three full years of experience, along with a strong interest in, accessibility and disability accommodation laws/regulations (e.g., Titles I, II, and III of the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and equivalent state/local laws) and knowledge of public accommodation accessibility issues (for both brick and mortar and digital entities), including specific experience with litigations, regulatory (DOJ) investigations, advocacy group interactions, and work involving compliance counseling, policies, and training is also required. Experience with Title III of the ADA is required. Experience with accessibility auditing and/or managing outside auditors (both for brick and mortar structures and websites/mobile applications) is also a bonus.

Additionally, candidates are expected to have general employment litigation experience, including knowledge of federal and state employment laws. The ideal candidate should have experience handling certain aspects of litigation such as interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs, conducting and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending court appearances.

Candidates must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent communication and writing skills. Juris Doctorate degree required. Admission to practice law in New York (state and federal courts) is mandatory.The expected salary range for this position ranges from $205,000 - $290,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
