Responsibilities and practice

Dentons US LLP is seeking a mid-level associate with excellent academic credentials and at least 3 years of experience to join our Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice. The person hired for this position will be part of a dedicated team and will support the practice by assuming such responsibilities as:

• Advising in a wide variety of employee benefits and executive compensation matters, including the design, implementation, and administration of qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, equity plans, and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements
• Conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing strategic guidance to clients

Position requirements

Personal skills/attributes

• Has excellent written communication skills and can effectively communicate advice
• Is conscientious with a proven attention to detail
• Has strong presentation skills and is able to clearly communicate advice to clients and colleagues
• Is organized and efficient with disciplined time management skills
• Embraces teamwork and values collaboration

Technical skills

• At least 3 years of experience advising on employee benefits and executive compensation matters

Other requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and be in good standing
• Must include a law school transcript with application
