Employment Attorney - Hybrid (Alternative Track)

Position Summary

To help with the logistics of your candidate journey, our recruiting process is 100% virtual, though opportunities to meet our team in person are available. Our Sacramento office has multiple opportunities for attorneys with 4+ years of defending clients in employment litigation, including class action/PAGA cases as well as single and multi-plaintiff lawsuits. This is a flexible opportunity for an attorney to assume the role of a non-shareholder track counsel on a hybrid basis.

We are also open to an attorney who will join us as an associate (on track toward shareholder) or on an alternative track with a flexible or reduced work schedule.


Requirements

  • Candidates should possess at least +4 years of California employment litigation experience.
  • Ability to propound and respond to discovery, prepare motions, obtain declarations, and assist with all aspects of trials and trial preparation. Civil litigation and/or trial experience is also a plus.
  • Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in California. Must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice throughout employment.
  • Job requires excellent analytical and writing skills; strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task; passion for client service and practice development.

Benefits

In accordance with California’s amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is between $185,000 and $220,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This position qualifies for the benefits below.
