Stark & Stark has an opening in our Hamilton office for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and detailed-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • The Associate will work with project teams on purchase and sale transactions, leases, and commercial financing transactions.
  • Assist with assigned matters from inception through closing, including drafting and negotiating primary and ancillary documents for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, leasing, joint ventures and similar transactions.
  • Review and analyze due diligence and conduct legal research.
  • Correspond and communicate with clients’ business and legal personnel, and coordinate with attorneys across other practice disciplines.

Qualifications

  • At least five (5) years of commercial real estate experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Superior drafting skills.
  • Strong analytical thinker, with a business mind.
  • Excellent academic record.
  • Ability to independently manage and supervise paralegals and due diligence processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to interact directly with clients.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey.
