Overview
Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP has an opening for a Litigation Attorney in Phoenix, Arizona. Advise and represent clients in courts, before government agencies, and in private legal matters. Communicate with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses. Present facts in writing and verbally to clients or others, and argue on their behalf. Prepare and file legal documents. Manage litigation caseload. Minimum Job Requirements: JD degree from an ABA accredited law school. One (1) year of litigation experience as a litigation attorney in one of the following practice areas: general litigation, civil defense, products, real estate, transportation, professional liability and healthcare. Experience drafting legal documents, such as briefs, motions and discovery requests. Experience conducting research on legal issues associated with the case. Excellent analytical and writing skills.
