About the Role

The Attorney Development Coordinator is an integral part of Lathams Attorney Development team. This role will be responsible for assisting with the coordination and execution of all development efforts for attorneys in the office, while coordinating new hire orientation and serving as informational point of contact to associates, new hires, applicants, lateral associates, and partners regarding orientation, integration, and attorney development issues. This role will be located in our Washington D.C. Office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the tracking of work assignments for unassigned associates
  • Strategizing, organizing, and executing all details related to attorney-related events, meetings, and orientations
  • Discussing objectives and requirements for events with management
  • Arranging, negotiating, and supervising third-party vendors to achieve positive and cost-effective results
  • Processing expenses and maintaining budget with respect to each event

  • Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Possess the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
  • Display good written and oral communication skills

And have:

  • A Bachelors degree
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience at a professional services organization

Pay Range

USD $72,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
