About the Role
The Attorney Recruiting Assistant is an integral part of Lathams Attorney Recruiting team and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Attorney Recruiting Department, including the Director of Associate Recruiting, Recruiting Managers, and Recruiting Coordinators, by organizing and expediting workflow in connection with all phases of attorney recruitment processes, while assisting the Attorney Recruiting Department with all phases of recruiting efforts for new attorneys, lateral hires, and the summer associate program. This role will be located in our Washington D.C. office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining Attorney Recruiting Department documents, filing systems, and performing regular database quality control
- Assisting with the preparation of recruiting reports and metrics for internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with organizing, tracking, and planning of law school outreach activities and sponsorships

- Possess the ability to develop and maintain a courteous, professional, and effective working relationship with clients, vendors, and other representatives of external organizations
- Display a strong attention to detail and quality assurance processes
And have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year of administrative or office experience in related field
