About the Role

The Attorney Development Assistant is an integral part of Lathams Attorney Development team. This role will be responsible for providing support to the Manager of Attorney Development and Programs and team by coordinating and executing all development efforts for attorneys in the office, while assisting with arranging internal presentations, trainings, and social events for the attorneys in the office as required. This role will be located in our Washington D.C. office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the organization and attendance of attorney events
  • Providing assistance to the Attorney Development team as required including course administration of registration sheets and course materials, ensuring AV and other technical equipment is set up timely, meeting and greeting internal and external speakers, and assisting with layout of training rooms
  • Assisting with research projects working with the Manager of Attorney Development and Programs
  • Assisting the Attorney Development team with any reporting requirements and developing PowerPoint presentations
  • Documenting team meetings as required and gathering agenda items

  • Exhibit well-developed, professional interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
  • Possess good communication skills, written and oral

And have:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent with a Bachelors degree preferred
  • Relevant work experience, preferably

Pay Range

USD $60,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Yr.
