Tax Sub-Doc Associate

We are looking for an off-track associate to join our subscription agreement review team in our Tax Department in either NY or DC as follows:

Subscription Document Attorney to review, negotiate and track tax portions of investor subscriptions and transfer documents for private equity sponsor clients. Position is off-track. Compensation is commensurate with a first year associate, which is $225,000.

Required criteria:

• J.D. and DC or NY Bar admission required (pending admission is acceptable).
• Some knowledge of tax law, to include law school tax classes and/or tax experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present well to clients is a must. This is a client facing position with frequent direct client contact.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail.
• Must work well independently and as a team member.

The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.Salary Range$225,000—$225,000 USD
