The Westport, Connecticut office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated firm designated one of the Best Companies to Work For among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking a Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of employment experience in the Connecticut Courts. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.

KD's Labor and Employment practice includes employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wage and hour defense, as well as traditional labor law matters.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of employment litigation experience including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour and employment contract cases.
  • Experience handling employment litigation in federal and state court in Connecticut.
  • Experience developing strategy, drafting pleadings, taking/defending depositions, arguing motions and the capability of working independently.
  • Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies is also beneficial.
  • JD from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in Connecticut.
