Corporate Tax Attorney (3-5 yrs)

Phillips Lytle is looking to expand our talent within our Corporate Practice Group. Our teams work with companies through all stages of their growth, and offer practical business counseling across a wide variety of transactions and industries. Phillips Lytle has an excellent reputation and a roster of high-profile clients, including Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies in industries such as financial services, environmental and land use, telecommunications, energy and renewables, technology, manufacturing and healthcare.

The Corporate Practice Group seeks to hire an Attorney (Albany, Buffalo or Rochester) with 3-5 years of experience advising clients on a broad range of federal and/or state and local business tax issues in connection with partnerships, limited liability companies, joint ventures, S corporations and tax-exempt organizations. Candidates should also have experience rendering tax advice in connection with business structuring and formation (choice of entity), mergers and acquisitions, and business succession planning. Experience with real estate investment trusts is a plus, but is not required. An LL.M. degree in tax is preferred.
